The Ash Tree

Growing up, my backyard had a huge ash tree whose canopy spanned almost the entire yard. This tree was, and is, home to all sorts of different animals.

I remember seeing squirrels playing.

I remember hearing newly hatched birds chirping, and cicadas breaking the evening silence.

I remember standing at the base of this tree, and looking up, and losing myself in its countless leaves.

The Ash Tree is a fun challenge for performers and a joy for the audience.
