Henry Smith wins 2010 CT Idol

  American Idol has become such a national icon, that Fox Connecticut held what they called, their Connecticut "American Idol" auditions at Mohegan Sun Cabaret Theatre on Monday. Henry Smith, of Ellington Connecticut won a round trip limo ride to the American Idol auditions in New Jersey, according to the Norwich News. He was picked out the 150 contestants who lined up for hours to sing their songs in the competition.

Henry Smith is no longer managed by  Michael Goldberg and has decided to part ways with Phoenix Entertainment. "It was a 4 year experience i will never forget. I learned and I am very thankful for meeting Mr. Goldberg. "Its just time to move on".

 Hey guys, how have you been? Im pretty good, and getting the ball rolling. I had to let my management company go, due to political differences. Phoenix Entertainment which is owned and headed by Michael Goldberg did alot for me for the past 3 years, and to him and his company i will be forever greatfull, but I felt that it was neccessary and time for me to take full control of my project. I wish him and his all his artists nothing but the best. Some could see it as a set back, but i see it as an open window to do much greater things. In the end its all about the music so get ready, because new material is coming.

 Find Henry Smith in the January 2008 edition of VIBE Magazine. Earlier in 2007 he competed in the Blackplanet Music Month competition, and placed in the top ten finalists out of several hundreds. The top ten finalists were awarded with some shine in VIBE magazine.

 The project has come so far in such little time. Henry's worked with an incredible group of talented people, ranging from writers to singers, producers and artists.  I recently came back from the ASCAP BILLBOARD R&B Hip Hop Conference in ATL. That was a real uplifting experience/vacation/knowledgeble seminar. It included guest speakers Steve Rifkin (SRC) RZA, Teaboz, Jaunta Austin, Big Jon Platt, Tj from TJs and Djs, Mrs. Garret head CEO of Face2Face and many more. Trip sponded by Phoenix Entertainment.
